Record Investment Commitments Exceed State’s Expectations
Visakhapatnam: In a resounding success for Andhra Pradesh’s investment drive, the state government signed 400 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth a staggering ₹11,91,972 crore during the first two days of CII Partnership Summit 2025 held in Visakhapatnam. These agreements are expected to create 13,32,445 jobs, marking one of the largest investment mobilizations by any state in recent years.
The summit witnessed unprecedented participation from national and international corporations, far surpassing the state’s initial estimate of ₹10 lakh crore in total investments. Major deals were inked across seven sectors — Energy, Industry & Commerce, IT, CRDA, Food Processing, Infrastructure & Industrial Development (I&I), and Municipal Administration — signaling Andhra Pradesh’s growing prominence as a global investment hub.
MoUs Signed in Presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu
Over the two days, MoUs worth ₹7,15,490 crore were signed in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, ensuring 5,42,761 employment opportunities. The Chief Minister held a series of high-level meetings with industry leaders from diverse sectors, pitching Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructure readiness, reform-oriented governance, and robust logistics network.
Prominent companies that formalized agreements in Naidu’s presence include AM Green Metals & Materials, Ecoren Energy, Jackson Green, GMR Energy, Essar Renewables, Waaree Group, Seasan Global Trading, SAEL, JM Baxi, Shree Cement, Reliance Consumer Products, Hindustan Shipyard, Tata Power, Patanjali Foods, Indus Coffee, and Kellogg India.
The Chief Minister assured investors of the government’s full support, including facilitation of central incentives and faster project clearances. “Andhra Pradesh is ready to partner with global industries in building a sustainable and innovation-driven economy,” Naidu said. Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, state ministers, and senior officials including Chief Secretary K.Vijayanand attended the MoU ceremonies.
Ministers Seal ₹4.76 Lakh Crore Worth of Deals
Parallel to the CM’s engagements, various ministers collectively signed 324 MoUs worth ₹4,76,482 crore, which are expected to generate 7,88,884 jobs. Key ministers involved included Nara Lokesh, T.G. Bharat, Gottipati Ravi, B.C. Janardhan Reddy, and Dr. Narayana. Lokesh alone facilitated MoUs worth ₹1,38,752 crore in IT, Electronics, and Education sectors.

Summit Exceeds All Expectations
The Visakhapatnam summit turned out to be a massive success story for Andhra Pradesh, drawing record investor turnout and enthusiasm. The first day alone saw 365 MoUs valued at ₹8.26 lakh crore, while the second day added another ₹3.50 lakh crore, taking the total beyond projections.
Officials said the scale of participation and commitments demonstrates renewed confidence in the state’s proactive leadership, stable governance, and business-friendly environment.
