Amaravati: In a major boost to Andhra Pradesh’s industrial and technological growth, the state cabinet on Friday approved projects worth ₹1,27,181 crore, expected to generate 78,771 new jobs across sectors including IT, aerospace, defense, food processing, and tourism.
Google’s Raiden Infotech Gets Approval for India’s Largest Data Centre
The most significant approval went to Raiden Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Google, which will establish India’s largest data centre cluster in Visakhapatnam with a total investment of ₹87,520 crore.
Spread across 480 acres in Tarluvada, Adavivaram, and Achyutapuram, the project will be built on land purchased directly from APIIC by the company. The facility will include a submarine cable connection from Singapore or another suitable location, paving the way for more global data centres in the city.
Officials said the project will play a key role in transforming Visakhapatnam into an AI Smart City and anchor Andhra Pradesh’s ambition to become a major digital infrastructure hub.
BDL Missile Manufacturing Unit in Donakonda
The cabinet approved Bharat Dynamics Limited’s (BDL) proposal to set up an integrated missile and propulsion systems manufacturing unit at Donakonda in Prakasam district with an investment of ₹1,200 crore on 371 acres.
The project will create 1,400 jobs and include a 145-acre township for employees. Land will be allotted at ₹7.73 lakh per acre, while the remaining 819 acres will be made available through land pooling. Production is scheduled to begin by October 2028.
Aerospace Expansion in Anantapur
Two major aerospace projects were cleared in Anantapur district:

Raymond JK Maini Precision Technologies Pvt. Ltd. will establish an aerospace components plant at Tekulodu with an investment of ₹430 crore on 25 acres. Commercial production will begin by May 2027.

Raymond JK Maini Global Aerospace Ltd. will set up another facility in the same region, investing ₹510 crore over 75.5 acres, employing 1,400 people.
Lulu Group Projects in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam

The cabinet approved leasing 7.48 acres at the Mallavalli Industrial Park, Vijayawada, to Fair Exports Pvt. Ltd. (Lulu Group) for establishing a food processing park. The lease period is 66 years at ₹50 lakh per annum, with a 5% increase every five years.

In Visakhapatnam, the government revised lease terms for Lulu International Shopping Malls Pvt. Ltd. to develop a mega mall on 13.74 acres along Beach Road, with an annual rent of ₹7.08 crore and a 10% escalation every 10 years. The ₹1,066 crore project will generate 500 jobs.
Innovation Centre in Kurnool
The cabinet approved Axle ESG Pvt. Ltd. to set up an AI-driven environmental innovation centre at Krishnagiri mandal, Kurnool district, with an investment of ₹30 crore. The project, spanning 80 acres, will focus on drone and sensor-based environmental monitoring systems and biochar production, providing 300 jobs.
Fresh Land for Oberoi Villas in Tirupati
Following local objections at the previously designated site, the cabinet approved new land allocation for Oberoi Villas Resort in Tirupati. The project will now come up on 20 acres in Survey No. 588/A, as per the SIPB’s revised recommendation.
New Approvals in Visakhapatnam Region

Imaginative Techno Solutions Pvt. Ltd. will invest ₹140 crore at Kapuluppada, employing 2,600 people. The project has been allotted 4.05 acres at ₹2 crore per acre and is expected to attract additional Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

Avanti Warehousing Services Pvt. Ltd. will invest ₹319 crore at Gurrampalem, Visakhapatnam, to develop logistics infrastructure.

Sanvira Industries Ltd. will invest ₹260 crore in Anakapalli, creating 800 jobs.
Industrial Expansion in Palnadu and Vizianagaram

Sri Cement Ltd. in Palnadu will expand its existing operations with an additional ₹2,260 crore investment, adding 350 jobs.

A private mega industrial park covering 1,166.43 acres in Vizianagaram district received approval with a total investment of ₹531 crore, expected to generate 45,000 jobs.
Policy Reforms: Land Incentives for Tech Hubs (LIFT Policy)
The cabinet also approved amendments to the Land Incentive for Tech Hubs (LIFT) Policy to attract mid-sized IT companies to Tier-2 cities. Under the revised policy, firms will receive 0.5 to 4 acres of land and must begin construction within 12 months and employ at least 500 people within two years.
