Tirumala: Pilgrims visiting Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala will now have access to improved facilities, with several key projects inaugurated on Thursday by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The leaders formally opened the newly constructed “Venkatradri Nilayam” (PAC-5), a state-of-the-art pilgrims’ accommodation complex. They also launched a vision-based storing machine designed to monitor and ensure the quality of the temple’s famed laddu prasadam.

On arrival at the venue, TTD officials extended a ceremonial welcome to the Vice President and Chief Minister with traditional musical honors. After unveiling a plaque and cutting the ribbon, the dignitaries toured the new complex, inspecting the amenities and interacting with staff at the booking counters.

Later, CM Naidu inaugurated the Integrated Command Control Center (ICCC) at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1, aimed at strengthening crowd management and security systems at the shrine.

The programs were attended by State Ministers Nara Lokesh, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, and Anagani Satya Prasad, along with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and EO Anil Kumar Singhal.

The Chief Minister and Minister Lokesh had also called on the Vice President at Padmavati Guest House on Wednesday night for a courtesy meeting ahead of Thursday’s events.
