Amaravati: VIT-AP University held its 5th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, marking a proud moment for the Class of 2025. The event, hosted at the university’s picturesque campus in Amaravati, celebrated the achievements of 3,117 graduating students, including 28 gold medalists and 126 rank holders.

The ceremony was graced by Justice N.V. Ramana, Hon’ble Former Chief Justice of India, as the Chief Guest, and Sri Rajeev Verma, Senior Director at Samsung Electronics, Bengaluru, as the Guest of Honour.

In his address, Justice Ramana urged the graduating students to look beyond academic success and embrace social responsibility. “As you step out of the campus, remember — life beyond these walls is filled with extraordinary challenges and uncertainties. Stay informed about the world around you, be tech-savvy, and remain sensitive to the needs of society,” he said, lauding VIT-AP for “nurturing not only brilliant minds but also responsible citizens ready to shape a better future.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Rajeev Verma reminded the graduates of the pace of technological change. “You are entering a world where technology evolves faster than textbooks can keep up. What is relevant today may become obsolete tomorrow. Keep learning, keep adapting, and remain lifelong learners in this ever-changing world,” he advised.

Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT, congratulated the graduating class, describing the convocation as a “reflection of VIT-AP’s commitment to excellence and holistic education.” He praised the students for their perseverance and resilience and expressed confidence in their ability to make meaningful contributions to society.

The ceremony was also attended by Sri Sankar Viswanathan and Dr. G.V. Selvam, Vice Presidents of VIT; Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Jagadish Chandra Mudiganti, Registrar; Dr. N. Madhusudhan Rao, Dean (Academics); Dr. Khadeer Pasha, Deputy Director (Student Welfare); along with faculty members, staff, and proud parents.

The event concluded with an air of pride and optimism, as the Class of 2025 stepped into the world beyond academia — equipped with knowledge, values, and the spirit to innovate and lead.
