Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to unveil ‘NaiPunya’, a pioneering AI-powered skill and employment portal, at the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15. Designed to connect youth, educational institutions, and industries, the platform aims to provide end-to-end career support — from skill assessment to job placement.
For the first time in India, the state will introduce AI-based interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills — from plumbers to engineering graduates. The system will generate personalized resumes in Telugu, Hindi, and English, assess capabilities, and match users with relevant job openings across public and private sectors.
The portal will integrate multiple national and state-level databases, including Aadhaar, e-Shram, DigiLocker, EPF, and Income Tax, allowing employers to access verified profiles. Data from schools, higher education departments, and finance departments will also be linked to provide a unified skill ecosystem.
Leading job platforms like Naukri and Vision India, as well as learning partners such as UNICEF and Infosys Springboard, will be part of the portal. Users can explore available training courses, nearby skill centers, and future learning opportunities under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
Through AI evaluation, trainees will receive real-time feedback on their progress, identifying areas for improvement and potential job matches. The system also enables companies to register via PAN and directly post vacancies, bridging the gap between employers and skilled job seekers.
Officials said the ‘NaiPunya’ portal will serve as a one-stop solution for skill development, certification, and employment, integrating technology with governance to empower Andhra Pradesh’s youth.
“The platform will redefine how skill, opportunity, and industry connect,” a senior official said, adding that it aligns with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of making Andhra Pradesh a model state for tech-driven human capital development.
