Visakhapatnam: With the goal of positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leading export hub, the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation will host the “AP Global MSME Export Development Summit” in Visakhapatnam on November 9 and 10.
Announcing this, Tammireddy Siva Shankar Rao, Chairman of the MSME Development Corporation, said the two-day summit is being organised in collaboration with the India MSME Forum. The event will bring together 34 international buyers from 16 countries, including Russia, Sri Lanka, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Austria, Japan, New Zealand, Egypt, Bahrain, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
The summit will feature buyer sessions, B2B meetings, and networking programmes, providing a platform for Andhra Pradesh’s MSMEs to showcase their products and explore export opportunities across multiple sectors — including automobile components, food and beverages, electronics, sanitary ware, agricultural machinery, IT services, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and textiles.
“This summit is aimed at connecting Andhra Pradesh’s MSMEs with the global supply chain,” Tammireddy said. “We will present the range and quality of products manufactured by local MSMEs and facilitate export linkages through direct buyer-seller interactions.”
He added that MSMEs registered under the Central Government’s Udyam Registration are eligible to participate. Interested enterprises can register online at https://indiasmeforum.org/itd/rbsm-vizag-2025.
Highlighting the policy push for entrepreneurship, Tammireddy credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s initiatives and digital governance reforms for enabling small businesses in the state to scale up and compete internationally.
“The summit will not only open doors for exports but also strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s reputation as an emerging hub for global trade and innovation,” he said.
