Amaravati: The Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Monday announced the detailed agenda for the upcoming CII Partnership Summit 2025, to be held on November 14–15 at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds in Visakhapatnam.
Bringing together heads of government, industry leaders, and global experts, the Summit will explore new frontiers in trade, technology, sustainability, and inclusion under the theme “Trade: Technology, Trust and Growth—Navigating the New Geoeconomic Order.”
Global and National Leadership Line-up
The two-day conclave will open with a plenary on India’s role in a shifting global order and conclude with a valedictory session featuring Syed Abdul Nazeer, Governor of Andhra Pradesh, as Chief Guest; Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry; and N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, alongside senior CII leadership including Dr (Ms) Suchitra K. Ella, Vice-President, CII, and R. Dinesh, Chairman, CII International Council.
Focus on Growth, Investment and Technology
Plenary sessions will address India’s growth priorities and the evolving trade architecture through discussions titled “Gateway to Growth: The Trade and Investment Imperative,” “Strengthening Multilateralism,” and “Crisis to Competitiveness: Reinforcing Economic Security.”
Sessions on AI for Viksit Bharat, AI and the Future of Jobs, and International Collaboration on AI for Social Good will anchor the technology agenda, alongside panels on precision medicine, biodesign, quantum computing, and India’s space ecosystem.
Andhra Pradesh in Spotlight
Andhra Pradesh will use the summit to position itself as a strategic investment hub for high-value sectors including defence, aerospace, drones, semiconductors, and coastal logistics. Dedicated sessions will present the state’s industrial roadmap in green hydrogen, sustainable cities, agribusiness, food processing, and Tier-2 IT/GCC expansion.
The Naidu government aims to showcase Andhra as India’s Green Hydrogen Valley—linking renewable generation, industrial demand, and export opportunities through integrated skilling and indigenous supply chains. Another highlight will be the Atmanirbhar Quantum initiative, focusing on developing a domestic quantum technology stack and a future-ready workforce.
Deepening Global Partnerships
Country-specific sessions with Russia, Japan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore will seek to expand collaboration in technology, supply chains, and market access. The sessions are expected to reinforce India’s role as a trusted partner in global trade and geoeconomics, particularly across the Indo-Pacific region.
Sustainability and Inclusion as Core Themes
The Summit’s sustainability track will feature discussions on Climate Risks for Indian Businesses, ESG Evolution, Green Hydrogen Financing, Sustainable Cities, and Blue Economy Development. These sessions aim to align India’s decarbonisation strategy with new investment flows and risk frameworks.
Inclusion and skill development are also central to the agenda, with dedicated tracks on Gender-Responsive Innovation, Reskilling for a New World, and Vision 2047—Youth and AI-enabled Jobs. These discussions will align with India’s broader goals of women-led development and workforce transformation under Viksit Bharat 2047.
