Hyderabad: The Ramoji Group has announced the inaugural Ramoji Excellence Awards 2025, a national honour instituted in memory of Padma Vibhushan Sri Ramoji Rao, celebrating individuals whose work reflects the principles he championed — service, discipline, integrity, and nation-building. The awards ceremony will be held on November 16 at Ramoji Film City, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with live coverage beginning at 6:30 PM.
Sri Ramoji Rao, a pioneering media entrepreneur and nation-builder, left behind a legacy of public service through Eenadu, ETV and a range of enterprises that shaped generations. The new awards aim to recognize contemporary changemakers working with similar purpose.
Seven National Honours Across Key Sectors
Seven awardees have been selected this year, one in each category:

The selection process was conducted with a strong emphasis on transparency. Expert panels shortlisted three nominees per category, and a final committee chose the awardees after rigorous evaluation. Eenadu and ETV Bharat independently verified credentials and fieldwork before confirmation.
