Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed all departments to ensure that every citizen-facing service in Andhra Pradesh is delivered online starting Sankranti (January 2026). Reviewing RTGS operations on Monday, he instructed officials to accelerate the shift to digital platforms, stressing that online delivery enhances transparency, cuts physical visits to government offices and improves public satisfaction.
Naidu noted that some departments still rely on offline processes and asked them to immediately transition to digital service delivery. He said the government is already offering most services through the “Mana Mitra” WhatsApp Governance platform, and called for a wider public awareness campaign.
The Chief Minister also ordered that post-registration documents be delivered directly to citizens by courier.
On transport, he asked APSRTC to improve service quality, emphasising cleanliness in bus stations and surrounding areas, including toilets.
Naidu further directed the expansion of drone services and asked officials to draft a comprehensive master plan. With drone usage expected to rise sharply in the coming years, he said farmers must be educated on how drones can reduce pesticide consumption. Effective sanitation practices, he noted, are essential to checking disease outbreaks.
He praised several districts for implementing innovative practices and asked officials to identify such models and replicate them statewide. Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and senior officials from multiple departments attended the review meeting.
