Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved a sweeping set of decisions on Thursday aimed at accelerating the state’s technological, industrial and infrastructure transformation. At its 37th meeting, the Cabinet cleared investments worth over ₹26,605 crore, expected to generate more than one lakh direct and indirect jobs.
Quantum Leap: Amaravati to Host India’s First Quantum Computing Hub
In a major push to position the capital region as a deep-tech powerhouse, the Cabinet approved 11 key ITE&C projects, attracting ₹1,421.2 crore in investment and over 3,000 direct jobs.
Seven of these projects relate to the creation of the Amaravati Quantum Valley, enabling the state to establish the country’s first dedicated Quantum Computing Hub. Partner companies include:

Electronics Manufacturing: CIPSA TEC India will set up a high-speed PCB manufacturing facility in Naidupeta, Nellore district, with an investment of ₹1,140 crore.
Visakhapatnam IT Expansion: Three new IT campus proposals—TechTammina, ACN Global and Nonrel Technologies—received approval, promising 1,667 immediate jobs.

The Cabinet cleared 14 major industrial proposals:

IFFCO Kisan SEZ, Komaragiri: ₹870 crore initial investment to develop a multi-product SEZ on 2,776 acres, opening doors to over ₹9,400 crore of future investment.

ReNew Photovoltaics, Kadapa: A massive ₹3,990 crore, 6GW solar PV manufacturing unit.

ALEAP Women’s MSME Park: ₹22.48 crore investment, generating 2,000 jobs exclusively for women entrepreneurs.
Capital Development & Water Infrastructure
The Amaravati capital region saw major approvals:

‘Lok Bhavan’ Complex: Including Governor’s Residence, Darbar Hall and Secretariat-linked facilities; APCRDA authorised to process L1 bids.

E3 Road Expansion: Approval for a ₹532.57 crore upgrade including a 6-lane elevated corridor (a segment of the Seed Access Road)

State Water Action Plan: ₹9,514.63 crore approved for 506 water projects.

Kuppam Check Dams: ₹15.96 crore sanctioned for repairs to stabilise 1,936 acres of ayacut.
