Visakhapatnam: In a major boost to the city’s fast-growing tech corridor, IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday performed ground-breaking ceremonies for several IT and technology campuses across Kapuluppada, Madhurawada and the Non-IT SEZ, marking a significant wave of investments and job creation in the region.
In the largest announcement of the day, Lokesh inaugurated the Sattva Vantage Vizag campus at Hill No. 4 in Madhurawada. The ₹1,500-crore, 30-acre mixed-use development will offer 25,000 direct jobs and another 40,000–50,000 indirect opportunities. The campus will feature Grade-A offices, premium housing, integrated retail, hospitality spaces, and ESG-based urban infrastructure. Sattva plans to develop 1 million sq ft of IT office space in the first three years, expanding to 4 million sq ft within five years.
At Hill No. 2 in Madhurawada, Lokesh laid the foundation for Tech Tammina (Sree Tammina Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), which is investing ₹62 crore to set up its Visakhapatnam unit, expected to generate 500 jobs. The US-headquartered company currently operates across the Netherlands, Dubai and India.
Lokesh also initiated construction for Nonrel Technologies Pvt. Ltd. at the Non-IT SEZ, with the company committing ₹50.6 crore and planning to create 567 jobs in the city.
In another ceremony at the IT SEZ, the minister launched the ACN Infotech (ACN HealthCare RCM Services Pvt. Ltd.) facility, which will invest ₹30 crore and employ 600 people. The company plans to commence commercial operations within 12 months.
Groundbreaking events continued with Imaginnovate Techsolutions, investing ₹140 crore for a unit that will create 2,600 jobs, and Fluentgrid Limited, which is setting up a ₹150-crore campus expected to employ 2,000 people.
At Kapuluppada Phase-1, Lokesh laid the foundation for Motherson Technology Services Limited, which is bringing ₹109.73 crore in investment and 1,775 jobs to the region. Similarly, Quarks Technosoft Pvt. Ltd. began work on its Visakhapatnam campus with an investment of ₹115 crore to generate 2,000 jobs.
MP Bharat, Ministers Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy and Konda Srinivas, MLAs, APIIC Chairman Mantenna Rama Raju and senior officials participated in the ceremonies. The latest wave of projects adds to Visakhapatnam’s growing status as Andhra Pradesh’s innovation and technology hub.
