Seoul: Andhra Pradesh Ministers Dr. P. Narayana and B.C. Janardhan Reddy, on a visit to South Korea, have invited major companies to invest in the state and attend the CII Partnership Summit scheduled in Visakhapatnam this November.
The ministers met top executives of Kia Motors and Lotte Group in Seoul, showcasing Andhra Pradesh as a premier investment destination under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership. They highlighted that in just 15 months, the state has attracted investments worth ₹10 lakh crore, citing AP’s “speed of doing business” and investor-friendly policies.
At Kia’s headquarters, discussions centered on expansion of the Anantapur plant and global market prospects. Later, the ministers met Lotte Group officials, explaining AP’s single-window clearance and fast-track approvals that enable projects to start within 100 days.
The ministers urged South Korean investors to explore opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and participate in the Vizag summit, assuring strong government support.
Indian embassy officials and senior AP bureaucrats accompanied the ministers during the meetings.
