Amaravati, AP: On the first week of October 2025, Manjeera Hospitality Pvt Ltd, in partnership with IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), conducted a foundation-laying ceremony for a 4-star Holiday Inn hotel in Andhra Pradesh’s capital region. The hotel is slated to occupy 2 acres adjacent to the APCRDA office, house 250 rooms, and represent a total investment of ₹276.7 crores.

According to state officials, this project has been accorded incentives under the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Policy. The hotel is part of a larger vision to position Amaravati as a premier tourism and hospitality hub, driving investment, job creation and urban development.

The government will set up a dedicated management committee for the hotel’s operations, deliberating whether management should rest with local fishers’ cooperatives, government bodies or private firms. Once operational, the facility is expected to boost the region’s economy, create hospitality sector jobs, and enhance infrastructure synergies with nearby APCRDA offices and civic zones.

Promoter of Manjeera Group Yoganand, under whose aupices the stone-laying ceremony was held, said that he had faith in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision to develop Amaravati as a world class capital.
