Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to ensure that all approved industrial proposals move swiftly from paper to implementation. Chairing the 12th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) at the Secretariat on Friday, Naidu emphasised the need to make land and power readily available for industries planning to invest in Andhra Pradesh.

The SIPB cleared 26 industrial proposals worth ₹1,01,899 crore, expected to generate 85,870 jobs across the state. Since the coalition government took office, 12 SIPB meetings over the past 16 months have approved projects amounting to ₹8,08,899 crore in investments and 7,05,870 employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister instructed departments to ensure early groundbreaking ceremonies for projects recently approved by the board. He announced that ministers — including Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, and others — will lay foundation stones in their respective districts.

Naidu also reviewed preparations for the Global Investment Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15, and urged officials to conduct it on a grand scale. He informed the meeting that during his recent overseas tour, he had invited several global firms to attend the summit and invest in Andhra Pradesh.
